Baggs Studio of Ballet was founded by Thelma Johnston Baggs
Debra Peters Rankin has been owner and artistic director since 1978.
The studio location has remained in the historic Riverside-Avondale neighborhood since its inception.
Studio director, faculty and students remain active in the community through outreach, teaching and performaning.
Countless number of students have experienced physical and mental growth through their studies at the studio
